lights and sounds

Kenny and I met up after school to go to town. For some reason we’ve been going to town quite frequently, perhaps due to his influence.

We got down to Marina Square, and much to my astonishment, Marina Square was in fact, quite empty compared to normal weekdays even though there’s such a huge event going on. I suppose most of the crowd had gathered along the caged roadside to catch a glimpse of the action.
I got my what I wanted from Topman, and then we went to Carl’s Jr to have our dinner. At first the sound of the F1 as it refs up its engine pumps adrenaline right into your bloodstream, and I was totally excited about the race. But then while at Carl’s Jr, the sound got so deafening loud that it became kind of irritating. The guy at the counter told us that it was worse here as Carl’s Jr was situated at the race track’s longest straight. So throughout our dinner we had to endure the loudness of the cars which drives past every 5 seconds or so. The Toyota which I happened to see and other race cars were all so fucking fast that I could barely see it speed past despite hearing the noise. Unfortunately, due to the lack of camera, I couldn’t capture as much excitement as I could have.

After that, we took the bus back to Bangkit to find my friends who were playing basketball for a while before going back home.
